Flitting through the silent candlelit darkness of the solitary, storm-bound lakeside manor, unknowingly, the creature gives rise to the birth of the darkest and greatest of legendary tales. At Villa Diodati in May of 1816, Byron, Polidori and Mary Shelley contrived the eventual creation of both Frankenstein and Dracula.
A faded dark pewter necklace of a ragged, spread-eagled, swooping bat.
On a split, black curb chain, 17"/43cm overall, plus a 1 ½" extender chain.
